One Starfish Consulting
offers grant research, prospect identification, proposal
writing, and review services. While we offer a breadth of
experience to accommodate your needs, we specialize in
programs based in court systems, such as CASA/GAL
programs, drug courts, and youth offender programs.
We
know your project matters to you, and we can help bring
your ideas to life by conducting thorough funding
searches, researching prospects, and writing and reviewing
grant proposals. One Starfish can even train your staff
to carry out these functions in one-on-one or classroom
settings.
Funding Search:
We
conduct a thorough search to identify multiple potential
funding sources that would be a good fit for your project.
We also offer composition of concept letters and letters
of inquiry.
Grant
Proposal Writing:
We write grant proposals, plain and simple. We consult
with you, using needs assessments, goals and objectives to
bring your ideas to life on paper, including evaluation
plans, document preparation, proofing, submission to the
funding source, and follow-up.
Internal Revenue Service 501c3 Applications:
Getting 501c3 designation from the IRS is a critical step
for a new nonprofit organization. Let One Starfish walk
you through this intimidating, complex process.
Grant Proposal Review/Evaluation:
It's
always helpful to have an independent evaluation of a
completed proposal prior to submission to the funding
source. One Starfish can review it, proofread it, and
make sure it matches the funding guidelines. We can also
provide a mock scoring of the proposal, identify
strengths, weaknesses and make suggestions for
improvement.
